Has anyone else been thinking about the role the community played in Crystalin Thomas's case? It's both heartening and devastating to see how quickly the neighbors came together to help law enforcement. Their quick action and willingness to speak up really made a difference in getting Edward Moses Jr. arrested so quickly. It makes me wonder how many other cases could benefit from this kind of community involvement. Of course, it's impossible to forget that two little kids lost their mom that day. I hope they know, as they grow older, that so many people cared deeply about their mom and did their best to stand up for her after she died. It's such a tragedy, but maybe there's a glimmer of hope in seeing how people rallied to support one another in the aftermath. These moments, although sad, show how vital it is for us all to be vigilant and supportive.
