Has anyone else been following Dajuan Hawthorne's case from 2010? It's so upsetting to see another victim caught in the web of violence that seems to grip Detroit. From what I’ve read, there’s a serious lack of details—which isn't surprising given the backlog of unsolved homicides the city faces. It makes me wonder how much gets overlooked due to overwhelmed resources. I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through, nearly 13 years later without answers. The Cold Case Unit is working hard, but how do they decide which cases to prioritize, especially when there are so many? It feels like there must be something more the community can do to help. Has anyone heard if there have been recent efforts or groups trying to support those affected by these cold cases? More eyes and support from the community might make a difference. Keeping his family in my thoughts. ❤️
