Has anyone else been following the testimonies from the trial? I was struck by the bravery Nicole Smalley showed while testifying about her last conversation with her dad. I can’t even begin to imagine how hard that must have been for her, reliving such a poignant memory in front of everyone. The fact that the jury reached a verdict in less than three hours suggests how compelling the evidence and testimonies were. It's such a tragic reminder of how quickly life's dynamics can change. Sending thoughts to everyone who loved Richard Smalley and hoping the family finds some peace moving forward. What are others’ thoughts on how the trial played out?
