It’s truly painful to think about what Jorge’s family had to endure, especially not seeing justice for so long. I’ve been following this case since it happened, and the delay in apprehending Ramos is beyond frustrating. The fact that it took a few years to capture him must have made those years even harder for Jorge’s loved ones. It’s clear from everything shared by those who knew him that Jorge was a bright, lively person; the world has definitely lost a special soul. I'm really hoping the trial brings some sense of closure to his family and that we get to hear more about the passion Jorge had for music. He deserves to be remembered not just for how he left this world, but for the joy he brought to those around him. What a testament it would be to see his love for music honored in some way by the community.
Does anyone else find it disturbing that it took so long to catch Justin Baez Ramos? I can't imagine the frustration and pain that Jorge’s family must have felt during those years waiting for justice. It's frightening to think Ramos managed to be on the run until 2021. I hope with his arrest, there’s some semblance of closure for Guillen Jr.'s loved ones, even though nothing can truly make up for their loss. It's a reminder that the wheels of justice can move slowly, but when they do, it brings a little bit of relief for those who are grieving. Rest in peace, Patronge. You deserved so much more.
I was reading about Jorge Guillen Jr.'s case the other day, and something that stood out to me was the incredible bond he had with his family. They described him as "Patronge," which seems to speak volumes about how much they cherished him. It’s so moving to think about the nickname they had for him—the kind of thing a family carries in their heart forever.
The fact that this senseless act cut his life short when he seems to have had so much love and promise is just devastating. I can’t help but think about how his passion for music and his outgoing nature must've brought joy to those around him. It’s beyond understanding how someone so vibrant could be taken away so brutally. The arrest of Justin Baez Ramos must bring a mix of relief and renewed pain for his loved ones as they confront the reality of the situation.
My thoughts go out to Jorge’s family, especially as they navigate these court proceedings, and I hope they find some solace in the community's support and the pursuit of justice for Jorge. If anyone else has any more info on how the trial is progressing or how his family is doing, I’d appreciate hearing about it.
