It seems like there were no outward signs of trouble, or at least none that the public is aware of. My heart goes out to their children, who will carry the memory of their birthday with such an incredible sadness rather than the joy it should have held. I keep thinking about how the community can better support families in crisis and be there to prevent such outcomes. It’s truly devastating for everyone involved. Any thoughts on how communities can offer more support or early warnings for families in similar circumstances?
I still can't wrap my head around this tragedy with Kristin and Matthew Eberhardt. I was reading about how they had just celebrated their daughter's fifth birthday days before the shooting.
