Has anyone else noticed how the witnesses were crucial in this case? It’s tragic that Shawn lost his life, but it seems the community really came together to help identify Amasa Camp as the shooter. It must have been incredibly difficult for Shawn’s family and friends during those early days, not knowing if Shawn's killer would be caught. The fact that witnesses stepped up shows the strong sense of community in Pittsburgh’s South Side Slopes. You can’t help but wonder if this kind of collaboration could serve as a model for solving other cases. If anyone has more information about how the community was involved, I’d love to hear about it. Sending love to Shawn's family during this tough time.
