I’ve been thinking about Autumn's friends and what they must be going through. Losing a friend at such a young age is unimaginable. Her classmates at the Cyber Charter School must have been devastated. It's hard not to wonder how they’re coping without her bright presence in their lives. Autumn's love for her friends was evident in the way her family spoke about her, and I hope they have a solid support system to lean on during this time. It's so important that schools provide resources for students who are dealing with loss. If anyone knows whether the school has done anything specific to honor Autumn's memory or support her classmates, I'd love to hear about it. It’s crucial that these kids have a space to express their grief and remember Autumn for the amazing person she was.
