Has anyone else looked into Zulma's case and wondered about the role of the cadaver dog alert? I know that the evidence in "no body" cases can be incredibly tricky, but it's fascinating (and a bit unsettling) how much weight can be put on cadaver dogs' reactions. In Zulma's case, I read that a cadaver dog alerted to something on items linked to Gibbs, but I'm curious if anyone knows more about how reliable these alerts are typically considered in court? I'm aware they're trained extensively, but every case is unique. With Gibbs maintaining his innocence, it makes you really think about how these alerts factor into the grand scheme of a conviction, especially when physical evidence is limited. Thoughts?
Does anyone else find the timeline in Zulma's case a bit unsettling? I'm particularly curious about the ten days between her disappearing on June 6th and her car being found on June 16th. That's a really long stretch when no one seems to have noticed something was off, especially considering she was living with her boyfriend and their young son. Was there any indication during this time that things in her life seemed more chaotic than usual? I can't wrap my head around how her car ended up 18 miles away. It's super eerie considering her plans to leave Gibbs. What do you all think could've happened during that period?
