Has anyone read more about the details of the plane’s mechanical failures? I’ve been fascinated with how planes work and wondering if there was ever any more info released on why the Grumman AA-5B stalled. I remember reading that both Benjamin and his grandfather were really into aviation. It makes me think maybe Benjamin might have been aware of what was happening when the stall occurred, which is such a haunting thought. It's just so sad because you’d think there would be more stability with aviation tech now. Does anyone know if any aviation experts weighed in on this incident at the time? It must have been frustrating that they couldn't recover all the wreckage to better understand what went wrong.
