I’ve been following Brandon Barbour’s case, and it’s troubling how little information seems to be available about what happened to him. With how dangerous Detroit was at that time, it’s upsetting that so many families went through this kind of unimaginable loss. I can’t help but think about the difficulty his family must be facing, not knowing much about the circumstances of his death. It’s alarming to see cases like Brandon’s get overshadowed by the overall high crime rates. Does anyone know if there have been any non-official updates or if the community has come together in any way to remember him or support his family? They deserve some form of closure or justice.

Hey everyone, I came across the case of Brandon Barbour again recently, and it got me reflecting on how tough it must have been for his family and friends. Losing someone so young and vibrant must change the very fabric of one's life. Given the crime rate back in 2010 in Detroit, I imagine that these cases sometimes blend into the larger narrative of violence, making individual stories feel lost. I wonder if this lack of specific updates or public information contributed to a sense of helplessness for those who loved him. Do you think there's merit in continuing to bring attention to these individual cases, even years later? Could community-led initiatives or fresh eyes on such old cases make a difference? Curious to hear your thoughts or if anyone else has seen movements in similar cases over time. Thinking of Brandon, his loved ones, and everyone affected by the unresolved loss. Stay safe and take care.
