Hi everyone,
I’ve been reading about the unsolved case of Jose Rosario Jr., and I wanted to discuss the role of community support in these investigations. It’s absolutely crucial for keeping these cases alive, isn’t it? In Rosario Jr.’s case, the Erie community has shown immense solidarity through vigils and memorial events. It’s incredibly touching and important to see people come together like this—especially when the family hasn’t found closure yet.
I can only imagine how important these gestures must be for the Rosario family during such a painful time. Community action not only honors the victim but also applies pressure for the investigation to keep moving forward. It’s a powerful reminder that Jose Rosario Jr.’s life mattered and that people haven't forgotten.
Have any of you seen other effective ways communities have helped in similar cold cases? It feels like there must be countless ways to support the families and keep the momentum going.
Sending thoughts to the Rosario family and hoping for eventual justice,

I can't stop thinking about the profound impact this tragedy has on Jose Rosario Jr.'s family. It’s so moving to see how his father, Jose Rosario Sr., has turned his grief into an unyielding quest for justice for his son. I mean, the endless social media posts, organizing rides, and even plastering billboards with his son's story—it's a testament to a father's love and determination. It must be so difficult for the family seeing no substantial progress, especially considering Erie PD received grant funding to address cold cases. Does anyone know how often these grants make a difference? I can't imagine the frustration of knowing there's funding but still having no arrests. It's infuriating and sad at the same time... My heart is truly with the Rosario family, and I hope someday soon they find the answers and peace they desperately need.
