Has anyone else found it odd that Janet’s burgundy Subaru Forester was neatly parked at the Zion Crossroads Park-and-Ride with no signs of struggle? I know some folks suspect foul play, but the way the car was left there makes me wonder if she intended to meet someone? I remember reading about other cases where missing persons left their vehicle in a public spot to throw off suspicion, but who knows. It’s baffling that even though her belongings were found in the car, the essentials like her credit cards and ID vanished with her. Does anyone have any theories on how they might have disappeared without a trace?
Has anyone else been thinking about the Park-and-Ride lot where Janet Field’s car was found? It seems like such an odd place to leave a vehicle. Zion Crossroads isn't far, but why there? Someone must have seen something that day, especially with it being the Fourth of July weekend. All those holiday travelers passing through; it bothers me that we're still drawing blanks on eyewitnesses who might remember seeing something that could break this case wide open. Hopefully, people who were in the area at that time will see one of the many appeals and come forward with any little detail that could help. Thoughts? Any local folks here with insights into the area back in 2014?
Has anyone looked into the significance of the Park-and-Ride lot where Janet's car was found? I keep wondering if she was meeting someone there, either voluntarily or not. It's such a random place to leave a car, especially since it's just off a highway and not really close to her usual hangouts or anywhere obvious she might go. Could she have been lured there under false pretenses? Maybe meeting someone she knew but didn’t tell anyone about?
The fact that her personal items were left behind but her credit cards and cash were taken kind of points to either a robbery, maybe she did know she was meeting this person, or they wanted it to look that way. Has anyone researched any other crimes in that area around that time? It's so frustrating thinking there might be a pattern we're missing. Just some late-night rambling thoughts ?.
