Wow, Derek's case is really puzzling. It’s intriguing how he was seen walking on Alvarado Street after withdrawing money and a grocery run, but then just vanished. The fact that he left his phone, keys, and wallet at his apartment is baffling. I mean, who does that unless they’re planning to come back soon? And those sightings on the Metro bus and Pacific Coast Highway—I wonder if any of those were legit. It seems like he could have been in a state of confusion or intentionally trying to go off the grid? What do you all think happened? Could he have had some sudden medical issue or—dare I say—a change of heart about his life plan? Hopefully, his family gets some answers soon; the not knowing must be beyond stressful.
Anyone else find it interesting how Derek Seehausen's disappearance doesn't seem to fit the typical profile for someone just vanishing like that? I mean, this guy was a med student with a solid routine — you'd think there’d be more clues, right? That detail about leaving his keys, wallet, and phone behind in his apartment is puzzling. Almost seems intentional, but why? It doesn't really add up if he had no reported mental health issues or reasons to disappear. Maybe someone else was involved? Those sightings on the Metro bus and Pacific Coast Highway have me thinking there's more to explore in those areas. Could he have been trying to get away or even starting a new life? It’s all just so confusing. Really curious about what everyone else thinks about these loose ends.
