I've been following the case of Alexus N. Chester and I just can't stop thinking about how it could've happened at a place like an Airbnb. It's supposed to be a safe spot for travelers and guests, not a scene for violence. I feel for Alexus' family and all the innocent people affected by this senseless act.
It’s shocking that the Airbnb guest was removed from the platform, but still no arrests have been made. I wonder what measures can be put in place to prevent such tragedies in rental properties in the future. The whole community feels this loss, and it's so important that anyone who knows anything steps forward. Alexus deserves justice, and her family deserves peace. My thoughts are with them, hoping they find the answers they need soon.
I can't get over how upsetting it must be for Alexus' friends and family, especially with no arrests made yet. What strikes me is how these rental properties can end up being hotspots for crime, and how something meant to be a place of comfort turns into such a nightmare. It's really concerning. Do you all think Airbnb and other similar platforms should have stricter rules to prevent this kind of thing? Or would that even make a difference? It's distressing to think about how innocent lives are caught up in situations like this. My heart goes out to Christy and everyone who must wake up every day still seeking closure.
