Hello everyone, Just reflecting on the tragedy involving Joy L. Strunk, it's evident how deeply domestic violence can affect a community. It's incredibly painful knowing that Joy might have felt trapped, despite her friends' urging her to escape the situation. It makes me wonder how we, as a community, can better support those experiencing domestic abuse. Are there enough resources available, and do people know how to access them? I've been thinking about the role friends and family play in these situations. How can we effectively offer support without overstepping? It seems like a delicate balance between respecting personal boundaries and ensuring loved ones are safe. Sharing our thoughts might help us feel more prepared to handle these situations, should they arise in the future. My heart goes out to Joy’s friends and family, as well as the community grappling with this loss. Let’s keep this conversation going to honor her memory and hopefully make a difference.
