Has anyone else been struck by the eerie detail of the dog that was with Anthony Miller at the time of the shooting? It’s haunting to picture this young man walking away from such a senseless act with a gun in one hand and a dog by his side, almost as if it's a scene from a movie. I can’t help but wonder if Miller had any attachment to the dog, or if it was just an afterthought. It’s chilling to think about how disconnected someone must be to do something like this and then walk away as if nothing happened. My heart goes out to the Rende family. Samuel seems to have been such a compassionate figure in his community and it's deeply disconcerting to think of his final moments. The thought of his family having to navigate through this heart-wrenching reality is unimaginable. I truly hope they find some peace and justice as this process unfolds.
