I’ve been following the Paige murder case, and one detail that's really been weighing on me is the aspect of estrangement. Three years is a long time for a father and son to be out of contact, and I can't help but wonder about the circumstances that kept them apart for so long. It seems so tragic that whatever led to their years of estrangement couldn't be resolved before it escalated to this level of violence. It's a stark reminder of how important it is to try and mend broken family ties before they spiral. My heart goes out to Ronald's surviving family, who are surely dealing with layers of grief and unanswered questions about how this could’ve been prevented. It’s just a sad situation all around.

Does anyone else find it so tragic how unresolved conflicts can have such dire consequences? The Ronald and Ryan Paige case is a heartbreaking example of what can happen when family disputes spiral out of control. I can't begin to imagine the pain their family must be going through, losing a father and seeing a son go to prison for most of his life. It makes me wonder what could have been done differently to prevent this. Could there have been an intervention before things got so out of hand? It’s just so devastating to see how an estrangement can escalate to such violence. My thoughts are with the family and the community as they try to heal from this tragedy.
