Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Ava and her family since it hit the news, and something that's been on my mind is the role of community support in these situations. It's absolutely devastating to hear about what happened to Ava, Ashley, and Marc, and I keep thinking about how neighbors or even extended family members might have been able to help. Understanding there were visits from protective services and the stress that the pandemic brought, I wonder how many more families are silently struggling with similar situations. Ava’s school and its community now have the task of moving forward and remembering her sweet nature, as I've read many lovely stories about her kindness from classmates and teachers. I hope the community can become more aware of signs that families might need help and feel empowered to offer support or report concerns. It’s just so tragic, and I pray for healing and strength for those impacted. ?

I've been thinking a lot about the impact of this tragedy on Ava’s friends and classmates at Panther Valley Elementary. Kids that age are so impressionable, and losing a friend in such a terrible way must be incredibly confusing and scary for them. I wonder if the school is providing any counseling or support services to help these young kids process their grief and fear, especially given how their friend Ava was known for her kindness and generosity. It's hard enough to explain loss to a child, let alone something this senseless. It's just important for the community to rally around these kids right now and ensure they have the emotional support they need. Has anyone heard about what measures are being put in place for the students?
