I can't help but think about the impact this tragedy had on Alessandra Briggs. To survive such a harrowing ordeal and then have to relive it during the trial must have been incredibly difficult for her. It's unimaginable to think about the fear and trauma she must have experienced during the invasion and in its aftermath. I have so much respect and admiration for her strength and courage in facing her attackers in court. I hope she's getting the support she needs to begin healing. My heart goes out to Latrell's family and friends. Such a senseless loss that should never have happened. Has anyone heard if there are any support funds or community initiatives being set up in Latrell's honor? It would be wonderful to see something positive come out of such a dark time.
