I’ve been following the Donovan "Bummie" Porter case, and I just can’t shake how close to home it hits for the Philly community. It’s been over three years, and still, no answers or justice for Donovan’s family. I keep thinking about the pain his loved ones must feel, having to relive this tragedy every day without any closure. I read somewhere that he was such a warm and generous person, always putting others first. It makes the senselessness of this act even more difficult to comprehend. I hope that the community rallies around his family not just with emotional support but by providing any leads they might have, no matter how small. Someone out there knows something. If we could all share this case more widely, maybe it would reach the right person who can help break this case open. Sending all my positive thoughts to Donovan's family and friends during this tough time.
