I’ve been following the Frederick Perry case for a while now, and something that really stands out to me is the role surveillance footage played in catching Kyontia L. Blanks. It’s chilling to think how a single moment caught on camera can change the course of an investigation and, ultimately, justice. I can’t imagine the burden this places on the investigators who have to piece together the events leading up to the shooting. My heart goes out to Perry's loved ones. I hope they find some solace in knowing that the footage helped bring some clarity and accountability to the situation. Does anyone know if Erie has plans to increase surveillance at similar locations to prevent incidents like this in the future?

Hey everyone, I've been following the Frederick Perry case closely and am really struck by the impact of surveillance technology in solving these kinds of cases. It's chilling to think of what might have happened if there hadn’t been any footage to help police identify Kyontia Blanks so quickly. While there's still so much pain from losing someone like Perry, it's important to acknowledge how these technological tools can bring some form of justice, even if it doesn't bring our loved ones back. I can only imagine how hard this still is for Frederick's family, and I hope they find some peace knowing that the person responsible has been held accountable, though it's never really enough, is it? Sending thoughts out to everyone affected by this senseless act.

Has anyone else been following Frederick Perry’s case and noticed how crucial the surveillance footage ended up being? It’s chilling to think how a single piece of evidence can tip the scales in these investigations. I’ve read reports stating that without the footage from the convenience store, identifying Kyontia L. Blanks might have taken much longer, which could drag out the pain for Frederick's family. It’s amazing how technology can help serve justice, yet it's devastating that it has to be used in such tragic circumstances. My heart really goes out to Frederick’s loved ones—they’ve had to endure so much through this whole ordeal. I sincerely hope they find some peace knowing that the legal process played out and that there’s some accountability.
