Has anyone else been reading about Elisha Derry's case? It's truly sad to see another young life lost in Philadelphia's rising tide of violence. I came across Elisha's name on the Philadelphia Obituary Project. It's a beautiful initiative, but it’s so distressing to realize how many names are added each year. I wish there were more details available about what happened that night on November 20, 2020, but from what I gather, there aren't any arrests or suspects? To me, it seems once again that justice might be delayed or, heaven forbid, not served at all. I can't even imagine how difficult this must be for Elisha's family and friends, not having the answers they so desperately need. If anyone local to Philly can shed more light or remembers something from that time, it would mean so much to those who cared for Elisha. Keep them and all the victims in your thoughts as we hope for resolution and some form of peace for those left behind.
