I've been following Darrell McQueen's case and something that's really been on my mind is the lack of witness testimonies. It was right around the holiday season when it happened—December 22, 2020—and there's a good chance people were around the area visiting family or running errands. It's such a busy time of the year, so it surprises me that no one's come forward. I hope this isn't a case of people not wanting to get involved.
Darrell was only 19, his whole life ahead of him, and the fact that no one's been caught is troubling. I'm thinking that maybe someone saw or heard something that didn't seem important at the time but could be crucial now. We all know 2020 was a rough year in Philly with crime rates, but every single one of these victims deserves justice.
