I’ve been following Dominic Billa’s case and can’t stop thinking about the eyewitnesses who were in the mall that day. It must have been terrifying to witness such a violent event unfold in what should be a safe and carefree place. I wonder how they’re coping and if any were able to offer testimony that impacted the trial’s outcome. It’s a chilling reminder of how these horrifying moments can touch so many lives beyond the victim and their family. My heart goes out to all those affected and hoping they’re finding healing and support.
