Has anyone here looked into the location of Edward Monyan's murder? 2600 West Davison Avenue seems like a fairly significant spot, considering how much activity it sees. I find myself wondering if the environment there on that particular day might hold some hidden clues. Maybe someone who was nearby could've seen something unusual or noticed someone out of place, even if they didn't realize it at the time. Detroit has endured so much over the years, and it's deeply distressing that so many families like Edward's are still waiting for answers. If anyone has info or a different angle to explore about that area, it could help bring some much-needed attention back to his case and others like it. We owe it to the families left in limbo to try every avenue.

Hey everyone, I came across the case of Edward Monyan recently, and it really got me thinking about the people who are left behind when cases like his go unsolved. I can only imagine the incredible frustration and pain his family and friends must be feeling, waiting for answers for over a decade now. It’s such a shame that his murder is still a mystery despite the efforts to reopen cold cases with newer forensic methods. I read that the Cold Case Unit is trying to work through these old files, but with Detroit's crime rate history, it’s like trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon. I’m curious if anyone here knows more about how we, as a community, can help with these types of cases. Could spreading the word, even years later, lead to new witnesses or tips? It breaks my heart to think that some people have to live each day in uncertainty, missing someone they lost in such a tragic way. Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts or similar experiences of seeing how public involvement made a difference elsewhere.
