Has anyone else found it odd that Martin Keith Burleson might have used an alias like "David Bartholemew"? I mean, it's been mentioned that his family wasn't aware of any problems he might have been facing. Could there be a deeper story here, like he was somehow involved with people that we don’t know about? Or maybe it was just a spur-of-the-moment decision to disguise his identity for reasons only he knew? With no concrete evidence or witnesses, why he chose or needed an alias remains a frustrating part of the mystery. It's like a puzzle with a missing piece, and it makes me wonder if someone out there knew him only as David Bartholemew, not realizing who he really was. It seems like such a big city like San Francisco at the time might have been the perfect place to disappear into, under a new name. Anyone have thoughts or theories on why he'd use an alias like that?

Has anyone else looked into the possibility that Martin might have chosen to disappear on his own? I know it sounds a bit out there, but I can’t stop thinking about the fact that he used the alias "David Bartholemew." What if there was something in his life he was trying to escape from, without letting his family know? Changing names isn’t usually the first step unless you’re trying to start fresh or there’s something/someone you want to avoid. I haven’t found any information on whether he had connections or friends who knew about this alias or if the name showed up anywhere else besides speculation. Anyone know if the police were able to track any leads that might have come about if he used this name afterward? It makes me wonder what kind of life Martin might have been pursuing if he did go underground, intentionally or not.

Hey everyone, I recently stumbled across Martin Keith Burleson's case, and something really caught my attention: the alias "David Bartholemew." I've been poking around trying to find any connections or reasons for him to be using another name. It's super strange, right? Especially since his family didn't know of any threats. Do you think he might have been running from something, or maybe just trying to start anew? There were a lot of people moving to SF during that time for the whole "Summer of Love" vibe, even though that specific period was over. It's just odd because if he was in some kind of trouble, wouldn't there be some whisper of it somewhere? Curious to hear what others think. Could this alias be a clue or just a random choice? Appreciate any insights or theories you all might have!
