Hey everyone, just came across Christine Marie Honson's case and can't stop thinking about something odd regarding those suitcases found in the backyard. Why were they left there in the first place? Did Christine pack them herself, or did someone else? It's strange that the suitcases ended up at a relative’s house in Grand Rapids with no attempt made by the husband to search for Christine first. Also, why wasn't there more investigation into this right when she disappeared, considering the police weren't notified until after the suitcases were already moved? I feel like understanding what was in those suitcases might offer some insight or leads into what actually happened that September. What do you all think? Could there be more to this suitcase story that we're missing?

Just stumbled across Christine Marie Honson's case, and I'm really fascinated by how it played out back in the '70s. What puzzles me most is the timeline around those suitcases. Her husband found them in the backyard and just assumed she bailed? That feels odd to me. Was there any investigation done on those suitcases themselves? Like, could they have been planted there to make it look like she left on her own? If someone was trying to make it seem she left voluntarily, that would be a convenient narrative for ensuring people wouldn’t look too deeply at first. Makes me wonder if there's more to that part of the story. Anyone have thoughts or information on how common it was to overlook critical pieces of evidence like this in the past?

Has anyone else looked into the timeline around the appearance of those suitcases in Christine's backyard? I find it so strange that her husband found them there and just assumed she packed up and left without a word. I get that their relationship was rocky, but that's a pretty big leap. Did they ever figure out what was inside those suitcases? It seems like a crucial detail that could indicate whether she willingly packed them or if someone else did. Plus, dropping them off with relatives in Grand Rapids just seems odd, especially for someone concerned enough to eventually report her missing. Did anyone in her family or the investigators think this was suspicious? It just doesn’t sit right with me, considering how specific this part of the story is. Would love to hear if anyone else has any insights into this angle.
