I've been following the Latoya Gary case, and one aspect that keeps haunting me is what her mother must be going through. I can't even begin to imagine witnessing such a traumatic event. Losing a daughter in such a violent way and then having to relive those moments during the investigation and trial had to have been unimaginably painful. I hope she's getting all the support she needs from friends, family, and professionals. It's stories like these that remind us how important it is to reach out to anyone who might be in a similar situation and offer our help. If we can do anything to prevent another tragedy, we must. My thoughts are with Latoya's mother and everyone who loved her. They deserve justice, but they also deserve peace.
