I’ve been diving into the case of Cecile Moch, and one thing that's perplexing is the choice of location where her car was found. The Santa Ynez Mountains are quite a trek from where she lived or would regularly go. Why would she head to such a remote area? Did she have a favorite spot out there, or was she possibly meeting someone? Locals or people familiar with the area back then might have some clues that the investigators haven’t considered. Also, was there any indication if she had been to the mountains before? Might be worth digging into whether she had mentioned this place to anyone or if there was something about that location that unexpectedly drew her there.
