Has anyone else been thinking about the role that Leslie's hobbies played in helping us understand who she truly was? Her love for sunflowers and tattoos seems to me like it revealed a side of her that was creative and bright, maybe even a bit rebellious in the most wonderful way. It just breaks my heart to think of how someone so full of life and color could be taken away so suddenly and violently.
I can't stop wondering if the community has thought of organizing some kind of memorial that incorporates her passions. Maybe planting sunflowers or creating a mural with beautiful colors and designs inspired by her tattoos? It could be a way for everyone who adored her to come together, remember her vibrant spirit, and keep her memory alive.
What do you all think? Has there been any talk locally about something like this? I feel it's important not just for her family but also for the community to have a place to heal and remember Leslie for the incredible person she was.
