I've been following Kyline Avey's case, and one thing that's been sticking with me is her role as a mother on top of her demanding job at the prison. I can't even begin to imagine what her kids are going through right now. Losing a parent so suddenly, especially under such tragic circumstances, has got to be immensely difficult. From what I've read, she was involved in her kids' lives and balanced her career with her family responsibilities. It's just so sad to think about how her absence will affect them. I truly hope they find comfort and support from their extended family and community as they try to navigate this unimaginable loss. If anyone has come across any community efforts to help the family, please share. It's these moments where collective support can make a difference, even if it's in small ways.
