Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Steven Linne Jonas case from 1983, and there's something that's been nagging at me. The location of his abandoned vehicle near the edge of a cliff in Annie Creek Canyon has me wondering. It seems a bit odd, right? I mean, was it parked there on purpose, or could Steven have been in some kind of distress or panic leading to such a dangerous position? I've also been thinking about the logistics of getting his car there. Was it somewhere he frequented or maybe a spot that he found comforting? Park staff and visitors went through those areas regularly, so I feel like there’s something symbolic or deliberate about that location. If his mental health was deteriorating, could this area have some particular significance to him? I'm trying to piece together if this spot was chosen for a reason or if it was just a random place where the situation overwhelmed him. If anyone has any insights or thoughts on why someone might head to such a remote and risky area, I'd like to hear your perspectives. This case really needs more eyes on it, and maybe together we can piece together something that investigators might have missed back then.

Does anyone else find it unusual that Steven's vehicle was found so close to the cliff edge at Annie Creek Canyon? I've been reading up on the case, and the way his car was positioned seemed almost staged. Would someone in distress really leave their vehicle like that? I get that he was reportedly having a tough time mentally, but this aspect of the case makes me wonder if there was more going on. Could it be possible that someone else was involved, or maybe he was meeting someone there? These strange details just make the mystery deeper. Anyone else have thoughts on why the car ended up where it did?
