Does anyone else find it chilling how the community might have overlooked Rudy Zamora's possible warning signs? It’s truly disturbing to think about how a farmhand, working so closely with the Wildman family, could harbor such violence. Given his age, just 20, I wonder if there were any indicators in his behavior or interactions with others leading up to these awful events. It makes me think of what might have been if someone had picked up on even the smallest of cues. My heart goes out to the family left to process this senseless loss and to little Dean and David who will, unfortunately, carry this with them their whole lives. ? Does anyone know if Zamora had any family or friends that might have noticed something was off?

I've been thinking a lot about the Wildman case from 1964, especially the aspect of how Geneva Pierce was caught up in all this. It's truly difficult to imagine how any family could face such a devastating loss. What I've read suggests Geneva was approximately 26 at the time, a young woman with her whole life ahead of her. I keep wondering about her relationship with Rudy Zamora. Was there any indication that she knew him beyond just seeing him around as a farmhand? It seems like such an obscure connection. I'm also curious about how the community responded in the days following the murders. Were there any support systems in place for the surviving family members, especially considering the young ages of Dean and David Pierce? They were so little when it all happened, and I'm sure the ripple effects have been tremendous. It’s such a haunting situation, and my heart truly goes out to anyone who knew or loved them. If anyone has more information about the days following the tragedy or Geneva’s life, I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts.
