Has anyone else been struck by the eerie quiet surrounding the Minor Avenue home after all these years? I recently drove through Hamilton and couldn't help but feel a chill passing by the neighborhood. It's so hard to believe that such a vibrant and lively family used to fill that space with life and laughter. Carol Diane Ruppert and her siblings should have had the world at their feet, just beginning to dream about their futures. Instead, their lives were tragically cut short in such a senseless act. Thinking about Carol's aspirations, her carefree school days, and playful moments with her siblings is heartbreaking. Gone too soon, and we mustn't forget the impact this had on friends, teachers, and neighbors who were left to pick up the pieces. It’s crucial to keep sharing their stories and advocating for mental health awareness—they deserved so much better.
