I was browsing through some old threads and came across the case of Marshal Murray Wilson Griffin. It’s been haunting to think about how a dedicated officer with such an honorable record, a World War II veteran no less, could be murdered in such a senseless manner. What really got me thinking is how they initially arrested a suspect four years after but then had to drop all charges due to lack of evidence. The heartbreak of not having justice served, for both Marshal Griffin and the woman found at the scene, must be immense for their families. Given the advancements in forensic science, especially with DNA technology, it's hard to understand why this case hasn't been reopened. The community seems to be supportive of revisiting the investigation. Does anyone know if there’s a petition or some sort of initiative that’s pushing for the Ohio BCI or another agency to look into this again? With cold cases being solved even decades later now, there’s still hope for justice. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.

Has anyone looked into whether there were any witnesses or anyone else at the scene who might have seen something but never came forward? Even though it's been so many years, it's possible that someone might have information that seemed trivial back then but could be significant now. It's a shame that the case hasn't been reopened despite the community pushing for it, especially with all the advancements in forensic technology. It's hard to imagine the frustration and pain felt by the families involved, not having closure after all these years. If anyone has more details on what kinds of evidence were originally collected, it might help in understanding if there’s a possibility for new testing. I really hope justice can be served for Marshal Griffin and the woman who lost her life that day. These families deserve answers.
