I find it so concerning that there isn't even a single photo of Janet Marie Bergin available. It's tough to imagine how difficult that must make things for investigators and even more so for her family. In so many missing persons cases, photographs are crucial for drawing public attention and potentially jogging someone’s memory. Without that visual reference, any chance encounters people might have had with Janet near the time of her disappearance would be even harder to confirm. I wonder if anyone in the community might have personal photos tucked away that could be helpful, even decades later. It's a long shot, but maybe someone might come forward. Thoughts?

I've been thinking a lot about the details surrounding Janet Marie Bergin's case lately, and something that stands out to me is how her struggle with anorexia might have played a role. It's so tragic and complex when health issues are involved in missing person cases. I can't help but wonder if someone might have taken advantage of Janet's vulnerable state due to her health issues back in 1984. That year was really different from today regarding mental health awareness. I'm curious if she sought help from any local clinics or support groups. Maybe there's someone out there who remembers her from that time and has a piece of the puzzle we're missing. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on this angle?
