Was anyone else struck by how young Justin Troxell was? At just 19, he had so much life ahead of him, and it's incredibly upsetting to think about what he could have accomplished. My heart goes out to his friends and family who must be suffering immensely from this senseless loss. The way these drug trafficking operations destroy lives is horrifying. I can't imagine the courage it took Justin's family to sit through the trial and face the people responsible. It’s a harrowing reminder of how deeply the opioid crisis and drug-related violence affect communities everywhere. I hope the conviction of Binford and his group brings them some peace, though the void left by Justin’s absence can never truly be filled.
