I just wanted to share my thoughts on the chilling aspect of Corey A. Mitchell's case—the so-called "fatal attraction." It's disturbing to think about how someone Corey once knew could become so obsessed that it culminated in such a tragic outcome. I can't imagine the fear he must have felt knowing someone had gone as far as making copies of his keys and invading his home. It's frustrating that even in situations where victims voice their fears and seek help, it sometimes isn't enough to prevent these senseless acts.
It's deeply saddening to know Corey's children have to grow up without their father because of this violence. As a community, I hope we continue to support them and his family in any way possible. If anyone has information that could help solve this case, please come forward. Keeping Corey and his family in my thoughts, and hoping for justice soon.
I recently stumbled upon Corey Mitchell's case while reading about unsolved murders in Dayton, and I can't shake the thought of his kids losing their dad in such a senseless manner. Having two young twins myself, I can't even begin to fathom what his family is going through.
Corey seemed to be a dedicated father and also a passionate writer in the true crime community, which makes the nature of his death even more chilling. It's like a cruel twist of fate. Knowing that he expressed concerns about this woman and that his fears were dismissed is just gut-wrenching. How on earth did this situation go so far without intervention?

Somehow it feels like after all these years, there has to be a thread out there that hasn't been pulled yet. For Corey and those adorable kids, I really hope they find justice soon.
