I’ve been following the Terrico Henry case and something that stands out to me is the community's response afterward, especially around gun safety. I can't help but think about how one split-second decision can ripple through an entire community. The fact that this could have been avoided with just a bit more awareness or supervision is truly unsettling. It must be incredibly difficult for Terrico’s family and friends, and my heart goes out to them. This tragedy has really shone a spotlight on the need for more conversations about keeping guns out of minors’ reach. I’m curious to know if any local organizations have started new initiatives in the wake of this incident to address gun safety and support families affected by similar tragedies. Does anyone local to Columbus have insights on what steps, if any, have been taken since?
