Does anyone know of any other missing person cases where the person's car was a significant part of the mystery? I was reading about Jack Lee Miller’s disappearance and it made me think. He was last known to be driving an orange 1970 Chrysler New Yorker. I mean, that's a pretty distinctive car, right? You'd think that might have turned up somewhere by now. I wonder if it ever crossed state lines, and if so, wouldn't there be some record of it eventually? It just seems odd that both he and such a noticeable vehicle vanished without a trace. Anyone else have thoughts on cases like this or ideas about how a bright orange car could disappear so completely?
It's intriguing to consider the potential Vegas connection in Jack Miller's disappearance. Given his recent disbarment and struggles with alcoholism, it's plausible he might have headed there seeking a fresh start or even escape. The fact that he was driving an easily recognizable vehicle—a bright orange 1970 Chrysler New Yorker—should have left some trail. Anyone familiar with that scene knows a car like that would stick out. It's baffling that there were no confirmed sightings or reports of the car once it left Olathe. Did it end up in a junkyard, or did someone help him hide it? Or, could he have intentionally chosen a high-profile car as a red herring? If he did intend to vanish intentionally, one might expect more meticulous planning. The real mystery is how nothing has turned up after all these years. Thoughts?
Was poking around old case files and stumbled across Jack Lee Miller's disappearance. It’s been over 30 years, and the mystery around his orange 1970 Chrysler New Yorker always gets me. That car must’ve stood out like a sore thumb, yet it disappeared without a trace. I can't help but wonder if someone saw it parked somewhere unusual or if it was hidden away deliberately. It's a long shot, but I believe vehicles like his would be hard to keep under wraps, especially in 1987. Does anyone know if there were ever any reports or sightings of the car in the Las Vegas area or elsewhere? It feels like the car might hold more clues than we realize. Would love to hear any theories or insights!
