Does anyone else feel frustrated with how long justice takes in some of these cases? I’ve been following the tragic story of little Davion Fisher, and my heart truly goes out to his family for what they’ve endured. The process seemed to drag on due to all the legal back-and-forth, especially when it came to the evidence issues. There was, of course, the question of the video reenactment and whether it should be admissible in court. It just makes you think about how difficult it must be for families waiting for justice, not knowing what might come next. It's such a stark reminder of how real and immediate these bureaucratic hurdles are for people dealing with the justice system. How can the process be sped up without compromising the integrity of the investigation? I hope Davion's family finds some peace eventually. What do you all think could be done differently to make the system more responsive in these kinds of cases?
It's so devastating to read about little Davion Fisher's case. The sheer cruelty involved is beyond comprehension. What I can't help but wonder is how someone like Daniel McCullough was able to be around children given the severity of his actions. It's infuriating to think about how many red flags might have been missed or overlooked. I feel deeply for Davion's family and everyone who loved him. How do we, as a society, ensure that those who are in a position to protect kids are better equipped and more vigilant? It seems like there might be systemic issues at play, given the challenges Detroit faces with resources and case overloads. Does anyone know if there are initiatives in place to offer better support and training for people involved in child welfare in areas with high demand? Maybe sharing ideas here could help shed light on ways to support these families before it tragically becomes too late.
