Hey everyone, just joined this forum and have been reading up on various missing persons cases. I came across Darryl Bohanon's situation and it got me thinking deeply about how someone can just vanish while traveling. It's strange that his luggage made it all the way to San Diego, but he didn’t. Has anyone ever looked into potential sightings during those bus stops? I can only imagine the number of places he could've gotten off without being noticed. It makes me wonder about the trail of evidence, like credit card usage or phone calls at those stops — if there were any. The late '80s were definitely not like today, where we have all this digital tracking. It's so frustrating that there were no substantial leads all this time. I hope someday something new comes up to help find him or at least get some answers.

Hey everyone, I've been digging into Darryl Bohanon's case lately, and something struck me about the day he was last seen. The fact that his luggage made it to San Diego, but he didn't, has me puzzled. Was it possible that Darryl didn't get on the bus on purpose? Or maybe something happened to him during one of the layovers? Buses usually stop in multiple cities, and it's not always the same crew or passengers the whole way. It makes me wonder about witnesses from those stops who might have seen something unusual or noticed Darryl getting off. Anyone know if the police ever checked passenger lists from the layovers? Documenting who got on or off along the way might give some clues. It’s frustrating that after all these years, we still don’t know what happened. I hope his family finds some peace one day. Present-day tech in solving cold cases with DNA or even checking old hotel and diner receipts might lead to breakthroughs. Just my two cents, but it could be a good angle to explore further.

I'm curious if anyone knows whether there were any reported incidents or unusual occurrences on the bus route Darryl Bohanon was supposed to take back in '87. Transport records from that time could be a treasure trove of info. Drivers or passengers who might have seen something suspicious on the journey might not have even realized its importance. There's so much focus on his destination, but what about all those pit stops on the way to San Diego? Even a casual observation could hold a piece of the puzzle. Anyone have thoughts on digging into this angle?
