I've been following the Thomas Burns case for a while, and something that's been on my mind is the impact this whole ordeal must have had on his children. Losing a parent in such a violent and public way is devastating enough, but with all the media attention and the trial, it must have been unbelievably tough for Casey, James, and Levi. I can't imagine how they're finding the strength to cope with their loss while navigating the rollercoaster of emotions brought on by the trial and acquittal of the suspect. It's clear that Thomas was deeply loved not just by his family but also by the community. I hope his kids find some peace and support from those around them during this difficult time. ?

Does anyone else find it suspicious how Robert D. Turner was acquitted despite the evidence? I've been following Thomas Burns' case, and it's baffling how the jury reached that verdict. From what I understand, Thomas was in the process of opening a new car lot, and there might have been some significant financial transactions going on. I wonder if any potential business disputes were thoroughly examined during the investigation. It's so disheartening to think that Thomas’ loved ones are still seeking answers and justice. I can't even imagine the impact this has had on his family, especially on his three sons. How does a system allow them to be left with so many unresolved questions? If anyone has thoughts or updates, I'd love to hear them. Let's keep discussing and maybe even bring some new insights to light.
