Does anyone else find it incredibly sad how Steve was just starting to rebuild his life when this tragedy happened? Reconnecting with his daughter and being excited about becoming a grandfather shows that he was on a positive path. It's really devastating to think about everything he was working towards and what was taken from him and his family. It makes me wonder what could have been done to prevent this, especially with the presence of so many firearms in the house. It's hard enough to process the loss for Steve's daughter and new grandson, but knowing that this all unfolded with children nearby is just unimaginable. Thoughts are with everyone affected by this heartbreaking situation.
