I've been following Zebulun's case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the role that peer pressure and alcohol might have played in that tragic night. It's haunting to think about how quickly things escalated from a bar outing to such a devastating outcome. Zebulun's character, as described by everyone who knew him, suggests he was the kind of person who would have tried to deescalate the situation if possible. It makes you wonder if various factors, like alcohol impairment or group mentality, clouded judgment that evening. It’s hard not to feel for both the victim and even the perpetrators, who were all ordinary young men just hours before the tragedy unfolded. Zebulun's family has endured an unimaginable loss, and they deserve answers and justice. My heart goes out to them and to others affected by senseless violence. We all need to reflect on how we can support each other in making better choices and preventing such tragedies from occurring again.
