Hey everyone, I've been combing through Wilson Demars Jr.'s case, and something struck me as pretty odd. It's puzzling to me that both Demars and his Dodge pickup truck vanished without a trace. I mean, shouldn't it have been easier to find some lead with a whole vehicle missing as well? You'd think someone would notice an abandoned truck like that, especially back in 1988, when small-town life typically meant people were more observant about their surroundings.
Also, the style he was last seen wearing—stonewashed jeans and Jheri curls—would've made him stand out a bit, I'd think. It just seems strange that no one saw anything or came forward with a solid sighting after the last time he was seen. Maybe his truck ended up in a body of water, or it was stripped for parts and sold off quietly? Just throwing ideas out there, but it’s really frustrating. Anyone else have theories on what could have happened to the vehicle?
I’ve been doing a bit of digging into Wilson Demars Jr.'s case, and something caught my attention. Does anyone else find it odd that his truck, which should be relatively easy to spot given its model and color, just vanished into thin air? The white 1981 Dodge pickup isn't exactly a typical vehicle you’d lose track of, especially in a place like Natchitoches back in the late 80s. I'm wondering if anyone has looked into chop shops or reported sightings in nearby areas from back then. Trucks like that might still be somewhere - maybe not in one piece, but surely someone would remember seeing it, right? If foul play was involved, the truck could offer clues that weren't obvious at the time. Thoughts on possible sightings or how to approach finding more info on the vehicle?
