It's so tragic to think about Brandon Johnson losing his life in such a senseless act of violence. I was reading through some old news articles and it seems like 2011 was a particularly rough year for Detroit in terms of crime. I can't help but wonder how the city leaders and community members are working together to address public safety issues both then and now. Having spent some time in Detroit myself, it’s such a vibrant place with a lot of potential, but stories like Brandon's really remind us all of the urgent need for change to prevent more lives from being taken too soon. It’s incredibly frustrating to hear there hasn't been much progress on his case. My thoughts are with Brandon’s family and friends as they navigate this difficult time.

I’ve been following the tragic case of Brandon Johnson, and I just can't get over the senseless loss of such a promising life. It’s terrifying to think about his last moments, just heading down East Grand Boulevard, probably doing something he’d done countless times before. My heart goes out to his family, who must be living in a nightmare without any closure or justice. I keep wondering why there seems to be so little information or progress. It’s been over a decade, and there’s barely a whisper about arrests or suspects. Detroit’s crime wave in 2011 was a nightmare for so many, and Brandon's case is sadly an example of how deeply rooted the issues were—and still are. If anyone has insights or updates, please share. His family deserves answers.

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the Brandon Johnson case and wanted to share something that’s been on my mind. It’s still so shocking that this tragedy happened back in 2011, and yet there seems to be little closure for Brandon’s family. I can’t help but wonder why there hasn’t been much information released about suspects or any real leads. It’s like he just got forgotten in the shuffle of Detroit’s crime wave that year. It’s truly disheartening to see so many families left without answers and justice. I keep hoping for some breakthroughs in these older cases, not just for Brandon but for all the other victims too. The violence in Detroit during that time was alarming and I really feel for the communities that were so deeply affected. If anyone has any updates or insight, please share. It’s important that we keep discussing these unsolved cases and maintain hope that there can be some peace brought to those who’ve suffered such tragic losses.
