I've been looking into Donald Hood's case and something that stands out to me is where his truck was found. Carpenter Bridge on Bear Creek Pike seems oddly remote. It's not the kind of place you'd just abandon a vehicle unless there was a specific reason. Has anyone here familiar with the Columbia area back in 1989 shed some light on what that spot was like back then? Was it a place known for any particular events or activities that might give us clues? I keep wondering if maybe the location could tell us more about what happened that day. ? Any insights or local knowledge would be appreciated!
