I can’t stop thinking about the impact on L'Shawn Brooks’ family and friends. This senseless loss of a 15-year-old in a drive-by shooting must have been a nightmare for them. I just keep imagining the moment life shifted forever for his loved ones when they got the news. It's frustrating and deeply sad to know his promising future was cut short due to gang-related violence. Does anyone know if there were outreach programs in the community to help prevent this kind of violence? Cleveland's a big city, and it usually has resources, but I wonder if enough of them were offered or accessible to young people. It makes me think about what more can be done to protect at-risk youth and aim for positive change. This has to stop happening. Thinking of everyone affected and hoping for healing and peace.
