It's difficult not to feel for the families involved in Jason G. Hanks' case. Whether one believes in the charges against him or not, his death must have been a severe hit to those who loved him. It's troubling to look at the trail of criminal behavior he left behind, yet there's also a sense of tragedy in his apparent inability to escape this cycle of destructive actions. For the loved ones of the victim in the sexual assault investigation, I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through with the case still hanging in the air, bringing them no closure. The ongoing investigations must be excruciating for everyone involved, and I truly hope that the truth, whatever it may be, comes to light soon so that healing can begin.
